Thameen is a London-based perfume brand founded in 2013 by Basel Binjabr with the aim of combining the wealth of the East and the sophistication of the West. The brand's luxurious collection is inspired by the world of sparkling gemstones and legendary treasures. The company's name, Thameen, is translated from Arabic as «precious» , which is also associated with the high quality of materials used to create fragrances.The extract in the Treasure collection is called Peregrina (Peregrine), in honor of the most famous pearl in the world. The large perfectly formed pearl belonged to the Spanish royal family for many years, then to the representatives of the British aristocracy until 1969 when it was bought at an auction by actor Richard Burton as a gift for his wife, Elizabeth Taylor. It became her favorite jewel in her collection. Found almost 500 years ago, La Peregrina inspired many artists and poets.
