Molecule 02 is a composition by German perfumer Geza Schoen for his own brand Escentric Molecules. The brand's collection is known primarily for its Molecules line, each scent of which conveys the aroma of only one fragrant material, which is different from the structure of a classic perfumery product.

Molecule 02 is made up of the molecule Ambroxan - pure and unique. Ambroxan has a sensual character with a bright, lasting sillage. Ambroxan is a unique scent in its purity, a crystalline substance with a chemical structure similar to that of ambrox obtained from natural ambergris. For centuries, ambergris was the most popular ingredient in perfumery. It is a somewhat mysterious substance produced by whales that only reaches its beautiful fragrance after a long maturation period, floating in the ocean.

In Molecule 02, an ambroxan, a synthetic material, has been used with a dry, woody-amber scent. In addition, it contains marine, mineral nuances also present in the smell of natural ambergris. The scent is woody, light and subtle, barely perceptible.
