The name Angels' Share is a reference to the memories of the most mysterious phenomenon in the cognac business, the 'angels' share.'

It's possibly the most personal scent of Kilian Hennessy today, inspired by the secret of cognac production in the eighth generation. Like a master perfumer who combines chords and essences in one scent, the master distiller combines cognac spirits in perfect proportions to achieve exceptional cognac.

This scent deeply penetrates the hidden places of the soul and memory of the founder, expressing the most mysterious value: 'la part des anges' or 'Angels' Share' - the part of the alcohol that evaporates from oak barrels through the finest pores during aging, evaporates and rises to the gods as a silent sacrifice. This phenomenon has been a mystery for centuries. Therefore, the inexplicable disappearance of cognac was called 'the share of angels', it was considered mystical.

Perfumer Benoist Lapouza used cognac essence extracted from liqueur to give Angels' Share a natural caramel color. The fragrance unfolds with notes of cognac oil, followed by a blend of oak absolute, cinnamon essence, and tonka bean absolute. The long-lasting notes of sandalwood, praline and vanilla provide a delightful aftertaste - a rare combination that should only be experienced by angels.
