Molecule 02 is a composition by German perfumer Geza Schoen for his own brand Escentric Molecules. The brand's collection is known, first and foremost, for its Molecules line, each fragrance of which conveys the scent of only one fragrant substance, contrasting from the structure of a classic perfumery product.

Molecule 02 consists of the molecule Ambroxan - pure and unique. Ambroxan has a sensual character with a bright, lasting trail. Ambroxan is a unique aroma in its purity, a crystal with a chemical structure similar to that of Ambrox obtained from natural ambergris. For centuries, ambergris has been the most popular ingredient in perfumery. It is somewhat of a mysterious substance produced by cetaceans, which does not reach its beautiful aroma until after a long ripening period, floating in the ocean.

In Molecule 02, Ambroxan is used, a synthetic material with a dry woody-amber scent. Additionally, there are marine and mineral tinges present which are also present in the scent of natural ambergris. The aroma is woody, light, refined, barely perceptible.
